COMPLETE 50 AMP GB1 PACKAGE

Add digital control to ordinary kilns. Package includes:

  • GB1 Controller with proportional output

  • Thermocouple (Type K, 9" long, Inconel stainless steel sheathed, magnesium oxide packed, 7' leads)

  • 50 Amp Solid State Plug Box with NEMA 10-50 Cord set

Simply mount the thermocouple in the kiln, plug your kiln into the Plug Box's socket, plug the Plug Box into your original wall outlet, and your installation is done.

To order, match the plug on your kiln to the pictures to the right.

GB1 units are for use with Type K thermocouples, only. 

No sending unit is required for the GB1.

Thermocouples are not supplied with the GB1.

Serial connection for PC communication and remote displays is built-in on all GB5s. PC software not included.

Platinum thermocouples (Type R or Type S) may both be used. Specify either one, if needed, on a channel by channel basis. A different sending unit is needed for
Platinum thermocouples. Add $30 per R/S themocouple.

GB5 Options:
Proportional Control for Solid-State Power Relays (per channel) free. If not all channels are solid state, specify which ones are. Any order, but not changeable after the fact.
